As wedding venues go they do not get more romantic than Ardverikie House. Having starred as ‘Glenbogle' in the long running BBC Drama, ‘Monarch of the Glen' Ardverikie House has reverted to its former role as a splendid family residence and can now be hired for wedding ceremonies.

With its fairytale turrets and spectacular views of Loch Laggan Ardverikie House is a magical setting for a wedding and makes a stunning backdrop for the wedding photographs.

The reception hall, drawing room and library can be booked for up to 2 hours to hold the wedding ceremony, photographs, drinks and canapés.

The rooms available for hire are the impressive reception hall, (lined with beautifully ornate wood panelling, the hall was originally built around a series of six carved panels commissioned for the late Duke of Sussex’s dining room in Kensington Palace) opens into the drawing room and library; the spacious and airy drawing room, with marble fireplace and stunning views over the garden to Loch Laggan and the library, a more formal room lined with the family’s book collection, with an external door opening out to the formal garden and views of the loch beyond. The drawing room and library can be opened up to create one large space or kept separate for a more intimate feeling.
